For two decades I’ve been trying to understand the best way to read a Bazi chart for twins. The chart is supposed to be the same, as are the environment and experiences. So twins are very similar physically, mentally and emotionally.
Nothing could be more disconcerting. It’s not like that. Physically they can be very similar and they know their differences. As well as having different perceptions of their surroundings, they react differently. Why is that? It’s simple. But perhaps not everyone accepts the idea. The explanation lies before they were born. They were two different souls who chose to take this journey together. Either because they have issues to resolve or experiences to live through. And when twins are born, especially univitelline twins, they can be so similar that they are often confused. But anyone who knows them, knows that they are different despite their appearance. As such, two different souls have different missions and pasts. Individual memories and experiences that lead to completely different thoughts, personalities, attitudes, reactions, emotions, tastes and paths. I’m not an expert on twins, but I’m a mum of two and I’ve met a few pairs throughout my life. I know that many decide to follow the same life path, choose the same career and even live together for life. Some get married but continue to live with their unmarried sister, and others don’t get married at all. I know two doctors who chose the same career, who were directors of the same department in the hospital where they worked, after retiring they continued with a consulting office that was divided in two internally, so that they could be closer to each other and exchange views even during consultations. Incredible! And they never married, they live together and have lunch together, they go to work together.
It’s all right. They may be all that, but they’re two different people with different personalities. One is more affable and playful. The other is more serious and even sassier.
Now, how to read their charts? Are they going to have the same fate and do the same things? Of course not. Some may be more telepathic than others, but everyone’s choices are unique, although they can be influenced. So we know that not everyone who was born on the same day and time has the same destiny. This is not only because they live in different countries, but also because they experience different situations. In the case of doctors, they won’t have the same patients. The experiences that come from this profession will obviously be different.
In terms of charts, how do we know what kind of person they are? If you look closely, each characteristic of a person is subdivided into positive and negative. In other words, a Bing fire DM can have different or even opposite characteristics within the element itself. For example: Bing fire is compared to the Sun, which illuminates, warms, generates life and stimulates us. But at the same time, Bing fire can also get so hot that it burns, shine so brightly that it dazzles others, dry up too much when there’s no water, be self-centred because it can’t see anyone else. It’s up to each of us to choose the pole of the same axis at each moment of our lives, because nothing is static and everything changes, just like our decisions and choices.
As this world is dual, everything that appears in our lives includes the elements of a pillar as well. Let’s imagine that someone is going through a very good pillar that allows them to achieve great success in their career with a lot of renown and fame. These are just opportunities. And people have to choose to seize them or not. One of the twins may decide to ride the wave and work hard to achieve what they want, while the other would rather sleep in the shade of a banana tree because life is going well for them and they’re not starving. That’s why they can have very different results in life.
So the Bazi charts are able to show us the opportunities, talents or abilities for a particular area. Whether or not we make use of these abilities will depend on each person’s choices, because art is created in matter and not in intentions.
I’m not going to divide twins into groups here, but I do know that twins who choose to live together and have the same life path are often dominant-recessive pairs in which one is the brain and the driving force behind everything while the other just follows and sometimes lives in the other’s shadow, taking advantage of all the achievements. So why doesn’t the other just walk away? Because deep down they feel a very strong connection, as if the other were a part of themselves that they would lose if they left. You’ll always keep that connection, whether you’re together or apart.
But this isn’t always the case. When they are pairs with very strong personalities, they can clash and even become very ugly enemies, stealing each other’s careers, significant others, impersonating the other when they are apart and even stealing each other’s identities, which is not difficult at all. Forging signatures and attendance has also happened. Many hate each other for usurping their identity or confusing people. There have been cases where two twins have resorted to beating each other up in a disagreement. Scary. Especially for the parents, who would certainly never want to witness such scenes.
Other pairs decide to choose the opposite, like the two poles on the same axis. You’re fine, I’m bad. You fall and I rejoice. You succeed and I hide in anonymity. And when nobody expects it, they switch poles. Interesting but equally disconcerting.
So who’s in charge of the choices you make throughout your life? Definitely their souls. And let’s not call them soul mates, because that’s not what they mean. We can say that they are actually two distinct souls who planned to incarnate as such, choosing the conditions in which they would be born and the situations they would face as adults in order to eventually harmonise past energies. That’s why all the pairs are somewhat similar but at the same time very different. As if they were two random people with a specific path. Only their respective souls know the reasons for their incarnation. But as we were born with the veil of forgetfulness, we don’t remember and it’s part of life to find those reasons, live them and harmonise them.
In conclusion: two souls who were born twins have a pact and the blood connection they have keeps them united or together so that they can resolve their past issues that they couldn’t resolve in other ways (friends, acquaintances, relatives, etc.).
Regarding twin pregnancies in which one of the twins succumbs prematurely. Apart from scientific reasons such as anomalies or illnesses, one of the reasons may be that one of the souls has come to keep company with the other in the process of incarnation, which is sometimes frightening for younger souls. When the pregnancy is already assured, she leaves the journey, leaving the younger soul to live her adventure.
